Coordinator Assignment

A coordinator is the team member who owns a vulnerability report. Each report can have one coordinator.

Assign a coordinator​

  1. Open the report in Submissions.
  2. In the Coordinator panel, select a team member.

Only users with the ADMIN role can assign a coordinator. You can select only users in your own company.

What happens after assignment​

  • CVD Portal sends an email to the new coordinator with the report ID, product and vulnerability type.
  • CVD Portal subscribes the coordinator to notifications for that report.
  • CVD Portal writes a COORDINATOR_ASSIGNED entry in the audit log. A change of coordinator writes a new entry.

Limits​

Assignment is manual. CVD Portal has no rules that assign reports automatically by product, severity or location.
